The aim of CASIA is independent adjudication of complaints against solicitors.

CASIA has always made it clear that it cannot help with individual cases. However, knowledge of its very existence has been a help to those who often felt so alone.

The shared experience of members, kept in touch with regular meetings,quarterly newsletters and networking, has put CASIA in a good position for discussion with Ministers, MP's, the Law Society, the Legal Services Ombudsman and the Office for the Supervision of Solicitors.

CASIA is considered an organization with serious ideas. Our reports are read and listened to by the people who are able to change the system.

CASIA would urge all those sharing its aim, whether they join CASIA or not, to seek support from their own MP and to contact the media about faults in the complaints system.
